HEMR - our story
The Herbal Emporium Margaret River is a boutique tea company, located in the South West of Western Australia, where loose leaf teas are perfectly crafted & blended by hand using the finest ingredients, always organic where possible.
Established in 2004 by a local Herbalist, and now Naturopath-owned, many of our teas still follow the original recipes - a special alchemy of health benefits and delicious taste - tried & tested for almost 20 years.
We offer our beautiful products in glass display jars with timber label & timber spoons for service in cafe, restaurants, hotels & day spas.
We have a range of unique blends available for retail sale with our own unique packaging, offering a timber label for our tea drinker to place on their own jar for storage or available in small glass jars.

Emma is delighted to be bringing The Herbal Emporium back to Margaret River where it first began.
Growing up in Margs, Emma took her love of nature and health and trained as a Naturopath. Now with over 21 years local & international clinic experience, Emma is looking forward to spreading the HEMR message of beautiful tasting teas that are good for you - body & soul.
In 1979, Emma’s parents, Judy & Chris Chapman, ran The Margaret River Tuck Shop. They went on to run various local businesses in Margaret River & Cowaramup and throughout all those years, Emma remembers her mum collecting teas. Each childhood home featured a large colourful display tins of exotic tea blends. A love of tea certainly rubbed off!
And a display of tea tins still takes centre stage in the family kitchen.
